It looks like the passion someone may have for their national flag; or possibly their obsession with it.
When I first saw this I thought it was a collage, but after close inspection I see it is paint! A marvellous style indeed.
I also like your use of black in the image, which is quite uncommon as black tends to over power pictures. I myself use black and it can be a harsh colour.

I never taught of it like that, but now that you said it... but my national flag has red not orange so it was close :) black is my passion somehow without any black i feel that the painting is not complete, sometimes I use very dark shades of green or blue instead of black to create a warmer atmosphere

Ah, but yet so far ;)
I used to use black for shadows and outlines in my pictures, but I have discovered that mixing colours which contrast with the colours in the object makes for much more effective shadows.
Do you have any idea why black is so important to your art? Personally I find black and white, when applied to any picture, stand out and become the strongest parts of the image. You balance your colours really well I've noticed from looking through your work; are the faces you've painted people you know?

I used to mix colors the same way but now i'm going for a much more violent contrast and in this painting in particular I am not looking for the accuracy of shadows and light, but on the brightness and power of the colors next to black, and I am also working on the balance of quantities, putting together violent shades and black, and yes black becomes the most important part of the painting every time, and I'm loving it! :) I always take pictures of people I know, mostly my family members and close friends, my initial project was called Family album so I try to stick to it more or less.
