This is really beautiful. Do you set-up your environments by hand or do all your manipulation in photoshop? Either way, the very fact that they are so ambiguous I have to ask, adds another layer to why I find them so intriguing.

hi, thanks very much.. With this one, the idea flashed in my mind as I was undertaking some domestic duty.. ironing trousers I think.. and I quickly sketched it out and worked it into the photo of the road (I had already coloured it pink).. the manipulation was worked from the original sketch in illustrator and finished in photoshop.. :)

(I'm aware the ironing trousers bit sounds incredibly flippant, but that's honestly how it occurred to me!)
