Botanics

Botanicsfinal_thumb
A mixed media digital piece based on Glasgow's Botanical Gardens. It was really dense, thick foliage, a bit oppressive. It reminded me of Day of the Triffids!

Yes and no! It was a painted background which I scanned in, so they are real paint strokes, which I inverted in Photoshop, the original paint colours were quite dark browns and blues. The bird was drawn with pastel and scanned in, then I used the inverted background to 'fill' the bird in. Thanks, glad you like it!
