Born in 1984 in Puerto Rico from a Cuban mother. As a mural painter mixes interdisciplinary art practice with street culture. The use of vibrant, undulating colors in her works portrays Maldonado's admiration for the Caribbean landscape, along with the chaos of the city and the abandoned structures within the urban environment.
