At a cool location in Hamburg (Germany)
Hamburg, Hamburg, Germany
Hosted by: iben
We are looking for artists around the world who would like to show their work (everything that they can send us digitally) in an exhibition, that we organize in Hamburg (Germany). So, what's new about that? New is the way we share the costs for such an exhibition. We can not afford such an exhibition and the single artist neither. Therefore we have setup a funding project at www.indiegogo.com/your-exhibition and are now looking for artists, sponsors and people like you to spread the word.
If you are interested, check out www.indiegogo.com/your-exhibition or follow us on Twitter ( http://twitter.com/yourexhibition ) and Tumblr ( http://your-exhibition.tumblr.com ) for latest news and FAQs.

Hi kurtlackner, to answer your question: Everybody who wants to show and sell their art in a real exhibition, but can't afford it to do it alone on their own. Why wouldn't you do it? We highly appreciate any kind of feedback. Just send me an email to ben@your-exhibition.com or leave me a comment on BetweenCreation. Thanks! Cheers, Ben.

It shouldn't cost an artist money to exhibit their work. The artist has already paid for the cost of supplys, their time and an immense amount of creative energy from their souls. Thats just my opinion, no hard feelings and best of luck. The reproduction prints do seem like a good idea and I could see the art market possibly going in that direction. Cheers, Kurt

Hi Kurt, thanks for your reply. I agree, but as long as you are not a well know artist it's tough to exhibit without paying, at least you give away a big share if you sell it in a gallery or so. And please remember: We do the printing and have to pay for a location ... that's why we can't offer it for free. But anyway, why don't you follow us on Twitter (http://twitter.com/yourexhibition) or Facebook (www.facebook.com/pages/Your-Exhibition/118649824837918?ref=sgm) to see if our project will be a success. Cheers, Ben.
