i really like the atmosphere that the piece is giving to the viewer. could you explain how you did it and what it mean to you?

Hi There! It's a screenprint/painting. I was thinking of the working man here initially I came up with gears because I was inspired by the industrial town I'm from. This is an appropriated image though of and actor. Since based in Los Angeles now so the gears have taken on another meaning here. I would say Pink Floyd's Have a Cigar might have a similar thought behind it.

I like this a lot. The subdued colors paired with the complex image is really effective. Great work! :)
