nice one, I've read your introduction text and I must say that you really captured the tragic atmosphere in your works, I like it, I used to do it myself a few years back, now I'm into strong vibrating poison like colors (I guess it's just another era of the same state of mind )
but I'm curious why do you have this passion or interest in bricks?

What I love about bricks is pattern and texture. Brick walls are organised and repetitious, which I find quite hypnotic, but at the same time they are all unique; in a similar way to how people are. I'm not a very organised person, which is why- I guess- I have an interest in bricks.
The picture above was part of a series I did about sexuality and pornography; how the bricks are straight edged objects used as a means to an end, which I then linked to the way women and men (women in particular) are reduced to their sexuality in photos such as thhe one used above. Plus there's the idea of mass production and cold hearted business.
You know what? I think I'm going through the same development as you, because much of my recent work is made up of very strong, vibrant colours; but they're also becoming more cartoony and abstract with it. Was it a natural progression for you or did you make the transition knowingly?

very interesting concept you have there, never taught of bricks that way! I guess my transition was natural because i have started with black and white, made my path trough natural (earth ) colors and then I started to use saturated shades and now I seem to have rediscovered the beauty of black and white, I guess it's a cycle we all pass trough :)

Yes, I have to agree. We all pass through the same stages; we start with something, leave it behind to do something else, only to return to where we started with a whole new perspective. Fun isn't it? :D
